DRUG FREE WORKPLACE & SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY
The language used in this document does not create an employment contract between the employee and the Agency. This document does not create any contractual rights or entitlements. The Agency reserves the right to revise the contents of this document, in whole or in part. No promises or assurances, whether written or oral, which are contrary to or inconsistent with the terms of this paragraph create any contract of employment.
The Drug Free Workplace Act was signed in Washington by President Raegan in 1988. The registration requires Graceful In Home Care, LLC to notify their employees of certain items defined in the law. The following are the items we need to make you aware of:
All employees are prohibited from the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance in the workplace.
Any employee who is convicted of a criminal drug statute for a violation occurring in the workplace must notify Love and Loyalty In Home Care, LLC no later than five days after the conviction.
Employees who do not adhere to this act subject themselves to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
Each employee, as a condition of employment, may be required to participate in pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion testing upon selection or request of management. Testing will be done through a 5 panel drug screening will be utilized that tests for cannabis, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, and phencyclidine.
It is our policy to provide a work environment which is safe for both the employees and the clients. Graceful In Home Care, LLC has the right to do random drug testing without notice to the employee. The unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of control substance is not consistent with this policy.
Please assist Graceful In Home Care, LLC in maintaining and ensuring a drug free workplace.
The Drug Free Workplace Act and Substance Abuse for Graceful In Home Care Staffing, LLC has been provided to me in writing and orally reviewed with me by a supervisor. I understand the terms of this policy and have no questions about it at this time. I agree to comply with the policy and understand that my refusal to do so will result in my immediate termination.
